More details about the upcoming sequel film were announced today on the X account of “Expelled From Paradise” (Japanese: “Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled From Paradise”). You can watch a new teaser below.
Cinema release in November 2026
According to current plans, the sequel film entitled “Liberated from Paradise” (Japanese: “Rakuen Tsuiho: Expelled from Paradise – Kokoro no Resonance”) will be released in Japanese cinemas on November 13, 2026.
The Toei Animation studio is responsible for producing the film, with Seiji Mizushima (“Fullmetal Alchemist”) directing and Gen Urobuchi writing the script. Masatsugu Saitou creates the character design.
In this country, publisher KSM Anime released the 103-minute predecessor “Expelled From Paradise,” which premiered in Japan in November 2014, on Blu-ray. The evening filler is also available on Prime Video.
