The month of November is off to a strong start for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, with two original titles joining the platform upon launch. On one side, Whiskerwood, a unique city builder where mice try to survive under the domination of despotic cats. On the other, Egging On, a deliciously absurd platform game where egg physics becomes your worst enemy.
These two games, released on November 6, are accessible via the formulas Ultimate And PCbut not yet via the Premium offer. They thus become the fourth and fifth games added upon release on Game Pass this month, after Football Manager 26, 1000xResist And Dead Static Drive.
Two universes, two gameplays, the same requirement
Developed by the Japanese studio Minakata Dynamics and edited by Hooded Horse, Whiskerwood immerses players in an underground colony where rodents must juggle urban expansion and feline oppression. A narrative city builder reminiscent of titles like RimWorld Or Timberbornwith an unexpected political touch.
At the same time, the Polish studio Egobounds propose Egging Ona physics-based platform game where you play as an egg vulnerable to the laws of gravity. Every move can be fatal, and every jump requires surgical precision. The visual humor and difficulty make it a potential contender for surprise indie game of the year.
Temporary exclusives on PC before arriving in Premium
If you are subscribed to the PC or Ultimate offeryou can now launch these two titles. On the other hand, for players subscribed to the formula Premiumyou will have to wait. Microsoft has indicated that the games available as soon as they are released in the Ultimate offer will be integrated into the Game Pass Premium within one year. Result : Whiskerwood And Egging On will disembark there between May and November 2026according to the new service policy.
Note that Whiskerwood is currently exclusively available on PCin early access phase. A release on other platforms is possible in the long term, but no date has yet been communicated.
