The streaming service Netflix today released the first animated teaser for the second “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” series. You can find the video below.
Premiere in fall 2026
»Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II« is being created under the direction of director Kai Ikarashi (animation director on the first series) at Studio TRIGGER. Bartosz Sztybor from CD PROJEKT RED is again writing the script and is involved as a producer.
The ten-part new series is scheduled to premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix in autumn 2026. However, a specific date is still pending. We will of course keep you updated about this as usual.
The first anime, which also had ten parts, was released in its entirety on Netflix on September 13, 2022. A German Blu-ray release was made by publisher KSM Anime, who recently reissued the Ultimate Edition.

The focus of “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II” is Weak Kingsley, D, Roman Carax and Talia Yang. The standalone story takes place again in Night City and follows a new crew that has to assert itself between revenge, redemption and the dangers of the dystopian metropolis.
