It was recently announced through a product listing on the online retailer Amazon that the publisher Crunchyroll will be releasing the action anime “Orient” on Blu-ray. We summarize all the details for you below.
Disc release from January 2026
The first part of “Orient” is expected to be released on January 16, 2026 in a complete box that contains all twelve episodes in German and Japanese. A date for the second part is currently pending.
The 24-part anime adaptation of “Orient” was produced under the direction of director Tetsuya Yanagisawa (“Berserk of Gluttony”) at Studio ACGT and was first broadcast on Japanese television between January and September 2022.
The streaming service Crunchyroll already offers the series in its entirety with German and Japanese dubbing on demand. The original manga by Shinobu Ohtaka was published by Crunchyroll (KAZÉ Manga) with a German translation.
