The official X account of “The Quintessential Quintuplets” (Japanese: “Go-toubun no Hanayome”) announced today that two new anime projects for the franchise are currently in the works. You can find a teaser below.
New series in the works
The first project is a series adaptation of the light novel series “The Quintessential Quintuplets: The Four Seasons” (Japanese: “Go-toubun no Hanayome: Shunkashuutou”), which comes from Hajime Asano and continues the story of the quintuplets after the original ending of the manga by Negi Haruba.
In addition, there will be a new OVA episode in which the chapters of the original work that have not yet been animated will be implemented. Further details are currently pending.
The anime adaptation of “The Quintessential Quintuplets” so far consists of two seasons, a two-hour film and two TV specials. Crunchyroll makes the entire anime available on demand, while Netflix has the series and film available. The manga was published by Egmont-Verlag.
