Pokémon GO reveals GO Pass rewards and April’s featured Pokémon

For his 10th birthday, Pokémon GO relaunches the grind machine with a new GO Pass for April 2026. Niantic features the legendary Enteiaccompanied by a shower of rare resources and comfort bonuses.

The system remains simple: a free track for everyone, and a paid version GO Pass Deluxe which adds exclusive rewards, including the return of the highly sought-after Lucky Trinket. Here’s what you need to know so you don’t miss anything in April.

GO Pass April 2026: what rewards in Pokémon GO?

THE GO Pass April 2026 starts on April 7 at 10 a.m. and ends on May 5 at 10 a.m. local time. You automatically progress by earning GO Points via your in-game actions, with a weekend without limit of points from May 2 to 3. Please note, all unclaimed rewards expire on May 7 at 10 a.m.

On the free path, trainers recover a lot of StardustofXP and Max Particlesnew resource linked to Dynamax activities. The highlight of the Pass remains the meeting with Enteiplaced at a high rank and with a chance of chromatic form, perfect for those who missed his previous raids.

Major ranks add comfort bonuses. At rank 25, the Gift limit rises sharply, up to 40 opened per day (50 with Deluxe) and more storage. Rank 50 doubles the duration of the Daily Adventure Incense, while rank 75 increases dust and XP gains upon hatching.

Entei and Lucky Trinket: what changes with the April GO Pass?

The big argument of GO Pass Deluxethis is the Lucky Trinket. This single-use item transforms a friend (at least Grand Friend) into Lucky Friendensuring that your next trade with it yields two lucky Pokémon, easier to level thanks to a reduced dust cost.

The Lucky Trinket obtained in April expires on May 12 at 11:59 p.m., so there is no need to keep it indefinitely. Better to reserve it for a crucial exchange, such as a key legendary or a Pokémon you’re targeting as a perfect IV with a trusted friend.

GO Pass April 2026: is the GO Pass Deluxe worth it?

By choosing the GO Pass Deluxeyou unlock both the free track and additional rewards like the Lucky Trinket, a Super Incubator, and bonus Pokémon encounters. The upgrade can be done at any time, and all Deluxe rewards already achieved are then awarded retroactively.

Niantic lists the Deluxe at $7.99, or around €8, and a version starting ten ranks higher at $9.99, around €9. The Pass can be purchased in the in-game store or on the Pokémon GO Web Storewith some bonus items. Diligent hunters, collectors of shinies and fans of exchanges will find what they are looking for, while more casual players will already have a lot to gain with the free track.
