Crunchyroll today released a German dubbed trailer for the anime adaptation of “Witch Hat Atelier” (Japanese: “Tongari Boushi no Atelier”) and at the same time confirmed that it will be released under the slightly adjusted title “Atelier of Witch Hat”.
Starting in April 2026
“Atelier of Witch Hat” starts on April 6, 2026 with a double episode in the German language version and in the original sound with German subtitles on Crunchyroll. Thereafter, another episode follows each week.
The German dubbing was created under the dialogue direction by Toni Michael Sattler and with the dialogue book by Jana Dunja Gries at DMT Studios GmbH. The voice actors for the main characters are listed below.

The studio BUG FILMS is responsible for the production of the new fantasy series, with Ayumu Watanabe (“Mysterious Girlfriend X”) directing and Jun Shinohara (“Metallic Rouge”) acting as assistant director.
The underlying manga series written by Kamome Shirahama has been published in “Morning Two” magazine in Japan since July 2016. The work is available from Egmont-Verlag under the title “Atelier of Witch Hat: The Secret of the Witches”.
