On the official X account of the new anime adaptation of “Ranma 1/2” it was announced today that it will be continued with a third season. You can find a first teaser and a visual below.
Simulcast on Netflix
According to current plans, the third season of “Ranma 1/2” will start in October 2026 on Japanese television and worldwide in the original sound with subtitles on Netflix in simulcast. Additional language versions have not yet been confirmed.
The MAPPA studio is once again responsible for producing the sequel, with Kounosuke Uda (“Spicy Girl”) once again directing. Kimiko Ueno (“Delicious in Dungeon”) is once again writing the script.
The first two seasons, which consist of 24 episodes and were broadcast between October 2024 and December 2025, are already available on demand in German and Japanese.
