Fans of the Fallout license are watching for any announcement regarding Fallout 5. However, the next official release linked to the franchise is not a new game. Bethesda has confirmed the arrival of a new collectible which will be available from May 2026, and pre-orders are already open.
An officially licensed Fallout Atomic Blast lamp
This is not Fallout 5, but a collector’s item intended for fans of the post-apocalyptic universe. Bethesda markets the Fallout Atomic Blast lamp, an officially licensed product sold for $90 on the Bethesda store. Made from vinyl, this lamp reproduces an atomic cloud in the shape of a mushroom. It incorporates multi-colored lighting effects that alternate between red, blue and yellow. A red button reading “DO NOT PRESS” is integrated into the design, reinforcing the retro-futuristic aesthetic unique to the series.
Other Fallout items already up for pre-order
This lamp is not the only novelty announced for 2026. Bethesda is also preparing the launch of an official and fully functional Pip-Boy 3000, expected later in the year. A Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Pack is also available for pre-order. It includes the game as well as its downloadable content, accompanied by collectibles. These products aim to maintain interest around the franchise while teams focus on their major projects.
Fallout 5 is still not coming yet
If some were hoping for an announcement regarding Fallout 5, we will still have to wait. Bethesda executive Todd Howard has repeatedly indicated that the studio is currently focusing its efforts on The Elder Scrolls 6. Although Fallout 5 is in development, it is not the immediate priority. According to several estimates, a release may not occur before the 2030s. In the meantime, Bethesda is increasing derivative products and collectibles to keep the franchise alive among fans.
