The requiem left to continue
This is a habit to which Resident Evil Requiem will not deviate. Just like Village And Biohazardthe ninth opus will benefit from additional post-launch content. It was Koshi Nakanishi, director of the game, who revealed some details during a small capsule published on the official Resident Evil networks.
First, Nakanishi starts light, stating that Photo mode is coming soon. An addition that is always so appreciated and which completely has its place in such a beautiful game where almost every turn in the corridor of Rhodes Hill is a plan to be immortalized. Then we learn thata mini-game will arrive in May.
We would immediately want to say that it would be the famous “Mercenaries” mode of the saga, in which you must achieve the highest possible score by killing zombies. But perhaps the thing would not have been presented as such if that was really the issue. To see, therefore.
However, what is certain is that a single-player DLC is in preparation. Unveiled not without humor by the director, this extension will take care of making us “explore in more depth” the events of this ninth episode. Anyone who has seen the end of the game probably already has some clues in mind about who, what, and where, but as Nakanishi says, you’ll have to be patient to find out more.
Resident Evil Requiem is available on PC (via Steam and Epic) PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch 2. Be sure to check out our full game guide to learn more about the game.
