Epic Games Offers Free Game and $100 Bundle, Last Chance for Players

The Epic Games Store continues to offer free games every week to attract players and enrich their digital libraries. This new rotation is no exception. Users can currently grab a full game without spending a single cent. At the same time, a particularly generous content pack is also offered for another popular title.

However, these two offers will only remain available for a limited period. Players have until March 12 at 4 p.m. to recover them before they disappear.

A crazy roguelike offered to PC players

The free game of the week is called Turnip Boy Robs a Banka title developed by independent studio Snoozy Kazoo. In this humorous adventure, players take on the role of an unusual character: a turnip who embarks on a series of heists. This second episode continues the character’s story after his previous adventures. The gameplay is based on a mix of action, exploration and progression typical of the roguelike genre.

The player must prepare for each heist by improving equipment and accumulating resources. The objective is then to enter different areas of the bank in order to recover as much wealth as possible. To succeed, it is possible to buy equipment on the dark web, confront security forces or even use different strategies to escape.

The title stands out for its humor and absurd universe, which have largely contributed to its popularity among players. Usually sold for around fifteen euros, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank can therefore be added to the Epic Games library for free.

A massive pack for Idle Champions

The other bonus offered by Epic Games concerns Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realmsa strategic game inspired by the universe Dungeons & Dragons. This title combines management and progression mechanics with a large gallery of characters from the famous fantasy universe. The free pack offered this week represents an estimated value of approximately 100 dollars. It notably includes several playable champions that can be used to strengthen the player’s team.

Among them are Raistlin, Gale, Spurt, Briv and Ellywick. The pack also includes an exclusive pet named Baaz the Draconianas well as several items to accelerate progress in the game. Players will also receive two potions valid for one week as well as a set of platinum chests. These chests contain different bonuses that can improve the abilities of champions or unlock new items.

A well-established strategy at Epic Games

For several years, the Epic Games Store has regularly distributed free games in order to compete with other distribution platforms. This strategy has allowed many players to build a large library of titles without having to spend any money. Some distributions have even included very popular games, which has helped to boost the visibility of the platform.

The principle remains simple: each week, one or more games are offered free of charge for a limited period. Once added to the library, these games remain permanently accessible on the player’s account.

The next free games already announced

As always, the current offer will be replaced by a new selection from the next weekly rotation. Two titles have already been confirmed to take over. The first is Cozy Grovea life simulation game set on a mysterious island populated by spirits.

Players explore the environment, complete missions and gradually develop their camp. The second announced game is Isonzoa historical shooter that immerses players in the battles of World War I on the Italian front. These two titles should be available for free from the next update of the Epic Games Store.
