It was announced today on the X account of the anime adaptation of “Kill Blue” (Japanese: “Kill Ao”) that the series will be broadcast in Japan from April 11, 2026. There are two new opening and ending teasers below.
Anime by Studio CUE
“Kill Blue” was created under the direction of director Hiro Kaburagi (“Great Pretender,” “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness”) at Studio CUE. Miho Daidouji (animation director of the second “Oshi no Ko” season) creates the character design.
The opening song is titled “ATTITUDE” and is performed by the South Korean idol group aespa (opening song of “Beyblade X”), while the ending song “KILL SHOT” is by the K-pop band RIIZE.
The original manga series of the same name by Tadatoshi Fujimaki has been published in the Japanese “Weekly Shonen Jump” magazine since April 2023. The work is expected to be available with a German translation from Manga Cult from April 2, 2026.
