In Outboundyou start your road trip by taking control of an empty camper van which you must adapt throughout your wanderings in a relatively open world. In an atmosphere that is meant to be relaxing, you will have to transform your vehicle into the house of your dreams, by collecting materials, by manufacturing the objects necessary for your progress, even if it means adding entire modules to various technologies, alone or in cooperation with up to four people online but without crossplay.

The game took the opportunity to recall the release of physical editions on the same day as its digital release, i.e. next April 23with two editions: a standard edition containing the game, the “School Bus Adventures” DLC and the digital soundtrack, as well asa collector’s edition containing:
- standard edition contents
- road map
- acrylic standee
- charm to hang
- 4 enamel pins
- 2 fabric patches
- 6 postcards
- all contained in a collector’s box
You can now discover these two editions and pre-order them. Outbound will be available from April 23 on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The price of the digital version, at least on PC, is announced at €24.99.
In addition, a representative demo of the final gameplay loop is already available on the Nintendo eShop to give you an idea of the game on Switch and Switch 2. Note that this has already been available on Steam for some time.
