New details about the length of the newly launched second season recently became known through entries in the broadcast schedule of the anime adaptation of “Saga of Tanya the Evil” (Japanese: “Youjo Senki”). We summarize below.
Simulcast on Crunchyroll
The second season of “Saga of Tanya the Evil” includes a total of twelve episodes, which will be shown in the simulcast on Crunchyroll every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. since July 8, 2026 in the original dub with subtitles. A German language version will follow at a later, undisclosed date.
The studio Project NUT is once again responsible for producing the sequel to the action series, with Takayuki Yukimoto (“FLCL Alternative”) directing and Kenta Ihara (“Sentenced to Be a Hero”) writing the script.
The streaming service Crunchyroll also already offers the twelve-part first season of the action series and the accompanying movie from 2019 on demand.
