The end of an intense hunt
Even before Resident Evil Requiem So, journalists and content creators (IGN, Synth Potato, etc.) were able to scratch the surface of “the last enigma”, the ultimate challenge of this new opus of the horror series. Until then, the finger had been pointed to a solution involving the Girl’s severed hand, recoverable at the end of the sequence in the basement of the care center, and a mysterious RNA sequence displayed by analyzing it under a laser microscope.
If this sequence ended up giving a code to enter on a combination cabinet, triggering a disturbing child’s laughter, a key piece was missing. The title of the riddle asked to “allow the adorable duo to hear the voice”. And it turned out that this duo was supposed to consist of Emily… and a doll. Several dolls can be examined in the game, without any being able, a priori, to join our inventory.
Quickly, a subreddit was entirely dedicated to gathering information, then an entire Discord server. Theories abounded, as did the fakes, before the data mining take matters into your own hands. This is a practice consisting in particular of searching the game files and carrying out different actions to see values evolve, and thus identify clues on the possible course of action to follow.
Doll, severed hand and… toilet

At the time of writing these lines, the precise conditions allowing the famous doll to appear may still need to be refined, but one thing is certain: the experience is reproducible since several players have managed to obtain the precious item. The first in the world being Rantsycancy and Kyro.
