Over 40 million views for #1

The first place among the most frequently streamed Studio Ghibli films on Netflix is “Howl’s Moving Castle” from 2004. The fantasy title recorded 40.4 million views worldwide between 2023 and 2025.

The Oscar-winning film classic “Spirited Away” (2001) follows closely behind with 40 million views. “My Neighbor Totoro” (1988) completes the podium with 30.6 million views.

The other places are occupied by “Ponyo” (28.7 million), “Kiki’s Little Delivery Service” (15.8 million), “Arrietty” (13.4 million), “Aya and the Witch” (13.4 million), “The Boy and the Heron” (11.9 million), “Princess Mononoke” (10.7 million) and “The Kingdom of the Cats” (9.1 million).
