The Genshin Impact anime is finally showing signs of life at ufotable, while the studio is preparing something around Tales of

The anime is therefore still planned

After more than three years without news of the project, we began to believe that the anime Genshin Impact was ultimately a fever dream that was never going to come to fruition. It must be said that the task is Herculean. Adapting the story of the game into a series would require huge cuts and several seasons, as it is spread over dozens and dozens of hours of play, if not hundreds.

But ufotable didn’t give up. The animation studio took stock of its upcoming projects, and if it is naturally very busy with the saga Demon Slayerhe mentioned the anime Genshin Impact as part of his future projects.

In a summary video (at 2:30), we see Aether and Lumine (the two twins/avatars/main characters of the game) appear. And since the anime is the first mentioned here, even before the rest of the films of Demon Slayerfans of the game are hoping this indicates that the release is just around the corner.

ufotable also wants to celebrate 30 years of Tales of

While waiting for more concrete news for this project, another piece of information catches the eye in this video. We see the mention of the saga Tales ofof which ufotable produced several animated introductions and cutscenes. It is indicated that a special collaboration will be revealed on April 3 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Bandai Namco series.

A new anime planned? This is not impossible as no real new episodes have been announced by the publisher for the moment, while ufotable has already adapted one of the opuses into an animated series (Tales of Zestiria). Response in a few weeks.
