Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2 doesn’t just add maps and modes. It also introduces a series of secret challenges to Warzone, including one particularly sought-after reward: the free “Shattered Echo” weapon blueprint for the Razor 9mm.
Available via a special event linked to the Cradle drop zones, this blueprint cannot be obtained by simple connection. It requires exploring the map and interacting with specific elements in the middle of the game. Here’s exactly how to unlock it quickly.
How Cradle Zones Work in Warzone
The “Shattered Echo” blueprint is exclusive to Call of Duty: Warzone. To unlock it, players must interact with 30 objects appearing in the so-called “Cradle” drop zones.
These areas take the form of red faults visible in the sky. They drop various loot, including:
- Vehicles
- Supply caches
- Objects identifiable by red smoke
Cradle Drop Zones appear at completely random intervals during a game.
Battle Royale or Resurgence: which mode to choose?
Cradle zones appear in both Resurgence and Battle Royale, but their frequency differs. In Battle Royale, three vulnerabilities appear simultaneously.
In Resurgence, only one rift appears at a time. This means that Battle Royale Casual mode is the most effective for progressing quickly. With three active zones, it’s much easier to find and interact with a large number of objects in a single game.
The 30 interactions needed to unlock Broken Echo
To obtain the Shattered Echo Blueprint for the Razor 9mm, simply interact with a total of 30 dropped items in these areas.
The elements taken into account are:
- The dropped vehicles
- Supply Caches marked by red smoke
It is not necessary to win the game. Only interactions count. By playing Battle Royale Casual and systematically targeting Cradle zones, the challenge can be completed in a few matches.
The other free rewards of season 2
The Shattered Echo blueprint isn’t the only free reward tied to these challenges.
Players can also unlock:
- The Shattered Vision Decal by interacting with 3 objects in a single playthrough
- Parachute RedStorm when visiting a Cradle zone in 5 different matches
These rewards integrate with Warzone Season 2’s secret challenges, offering several cosmetics without going through the paid Battle Pass. With random but regular spawns from the Cradle zones and progression based solely on interactions, the “Shattered Echo” blueprint remains one of the most accessible free cosmetics of Season 2.
