SEGA kicks off 35 years of Sonic in video

Finally a new main episode on the horizon?

This video therefore pays homage to all the iterations of Sonic, now more than thirty years old, whether via games, films and other adaptations featuring the blue hedgehog. No announcements to note here, even if SEGA says it wants to take advantage of this anniversary to organize various events for the community, whether concerts, new goodies, and even a new narrative podcast.

In short, on paper, only ordinary and nothing really exciting, but we imagine that SEGA has other, more major plans to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its cult mascot. We naturally expect new games, and this time, perhaps something other than remasters given that the latest unpublished opus to date, Sonic Frontiersstill dates back almost four years. Which should have left enough time for Team Sonic to prepare a new opus that would celebrate the character’s birthday. The year 2026 should in any case be quite rich regarding Sonic.
