The right time to bow out?
In July 2024, Bandai Namco was pleased to have sold 8 million copies of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. We notice that a year and a half later, the game continues to be talked about and sales are not weakening, undoubtedly thanks to the arrival of new DLC and some promotions, in addition to new versions on Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series. This is why the publisher now indicates that it has sold 10 million Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot around the world.
To celebrate this announcement, Bandai Namco wants to tell us when the second and (a priori) final part of the DLC will be released. Dragon Ball Daima in the game. The first episode was released last summer, and we had to wait until the beginning of 2026 to see the rest. We now know when this part 2 will arrive, and it’s January 15or in a few days. This new DLC will give access to new playable characters including Vegeta “Mini” and Goku in his “new” transformation into Super Saiyan 4.
We can assume that this will be the last DLC for the game, but since the license is inexhaustible, let’s not draw hasty conclusions on this subject.
