Yes, no Akira Yamaoka for this Silent Hill: Townfallwhich will still leave quite a void as the composer is associated with the series. For this new game, Konami has therefore chosen to trust Pilotpriest (real name Anthony Scott Burns), a Canadian artist who will perhaps give a slightly more Western touch to this new episode, which takes place in a city inspired by Scottish port villages.
And Konami immediately shared a first extract from the Pilotpriest soundtrack with the song “ Home “, which gives a taste of what the musical atmosphere will look like in-game. There is a lot of melancholy there, which fits well with silent Hillbut it remains to be seen whether the entire soundtrack will be able to respect the essence of the license.
Still no release date for Silent Hill: Townfallwhich is supposed to arrive later this year on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
