This is all just a coincidence
Since October 2, players who have pre-ordered their copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 or with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription could access the Beta in early access. They were joined from last October 5 by those who wanted to discover the game in preview via the Open beta allowing access to six maps and several game modes, as well as for the first time to Zombies mode.
Activision announced via a blog post reporting changes made to the game that, to allow more players to participate in the Beta and be able to reach level 30 (and all the rewards along the way), Treyarch proposed an extension of the Open Beta period, going from an end scheduled for October 8 at 7 p.m. to now a server closure expected on October 9 at 7 p.m.a few hours before the big launch of Battlefield 6. For the occasion, double-XP (including for weapons) is also extended. Real success, coincidence to occupy the media field or admission of a lack of people having reached this level 30? Season 6 of Black Ops 6 and of Warzone will be launched following October 9.
Day 5 of the #BlackOps7 Beta continues with our new 6v6 map, Toshin!
Even better news: we’ve extended the Open Beta to 9am PT Thursday, October 9. 👊
