Without any big announcement from Sony, Ready or Notthe realistic shooter developed by VOID Interactive, has quietly joined the PlayStation Plus Premium trial catalog. Accessible only until February 20, 2026, this title praised for its realism and tactical intensity is offered to subscribers in the form of a three-hour free trial.
Available exclusively on PS5 in this offer, Ready or Not allows players to briefly immerse themselves in a universe inspired by SWAT units, with high-risk cooperative missions, without having to pay a cent.
An easy-to-miss PlayStation Plus gift
Unlike other titles announced with great fanfare in the monthly line-ups, Ready or Not slipped almost anonymously into the Premium offer. Result: many subscribers missed out. The trial, although attractive, is only aimed at members of the highest tier of PlayStation Plus, and does not always appear at the top of the store’s home page.
A simple click in the “Game Trials” section of the PlayStation Store is enough to find it, but you still need to know that it’s there… and that it won’t stay there for long.
Ready or Not: a modern, demanding and immersive Rainbow Six
It is neither a Call of Dutynor a Battlefield. Ready or Not focuses on a slow, meticulous approach, with a strong emphasis on communication, team coordination and respect for procedures. A headset and a good mic are almost essential to get the full benefit of the experience, especially in online co-op mode.
The game takes up the codes of the old Rainbow Sixnotably Vegas 2and is aimed above all at fans of pure tactics. Each mission requires careful planning, and death is often brutal.
How to take advantage of it and optimize your three hours of trial
The complete single-player campaign requires between 12 and 16 hours of play. Suffice to say that the three hours allocated will not allow you to go around it, except to sprint without thinking. On the other hand, the cooperative multiplayer mode allows you to quickly explore the game’s mechanics, provided you have a few motivated friends on hand.
Good news: all progress is retained if you purchase the game after the trial. It is therefore possible to test, then continue your adventure without starting again. To access it, simply log in with a PS Plus Premium account, search Ready or Not in the PlayStation Store and start the download.
