If you are not familiar with Blitz mode, it is a faster mode than the classic Battle Royale of Fortniteon a fairly small map, where only 32 players compete. In general, the games last between five and ten minutes and offer dynamic and muscular clashes. On the occasion of the release of the new season of Stranger ThingsBlitz mode is therefore updated by offering a brand new map inspired by iconic locations from the series.
Day and night
On the program, four new locations can be found in a map literally cut in two, one part being in the normal world to the west and one in the upside-down world to the east, all related to the town of Hawkins in Indiana, where the series takes place. This physical separation is also a first in the history of Blitz mode, already accustomed to very small maps. Note that the upside down world remains dark during your crossing, but the normal world continues to follow a classic day/night cycle.
Little wink: in the heart of Hawkins Heights in the southwest there is a large sign giving you an appointment for Zero Hour event which will take place in Battle Royale mode on November 29 at 8 p.m. We have already explained to you what to expect from this event and from Chapter 7 which will follow.

The gang arrives in the store
The Demogorgon, Elf (Eleven) and Sheriff Jim Hopper were already among the skins available for some time in Fortnite. But the arrival of this dedicated mode allows us to benefit from a new pack including 18 cosmetics including in particular the skins of the four musketeers from the original soundtrack with Dustin, Will, Mike and Lucas (if we exclude Max, Steeve, Nancy and Robin in particular).
A pack still sold for 3400 V-Bucks instead of 6800 V-Bucks, for a total of €27. Vecna is also available alone for 1500 V-Bucks or for 2000 V-Bucks for its pack.
