The series is already well received
We would certainly have preferred to have a new game rather than an animated series, but we take what we can. Splinter Cell Deathwatch tells us over 8 episodes how an aging Sam Fisher, voiced by Liev Schreiber in original version, returns to the field to stop a conspiracy that will bring back demons from the past. All of this is available now on Netflix.
A very free adaptation of the Ubisoft license, which for the moment seems to convince the critics despite obvious downsides. As evidenced by the review from Écran Large, which found some good qualities in it, even if the series perhaps has too much of a tendency to focus on the action rather than the espionage part so characteristic of the license.
It should in any case be worth a look for early fans, unless they prefer to relaunch an old episode, like Pandora Tomorrowwhich has just arrived on Steam at a much more accessible price than a Netflix subscription (€5.99).
