Bluepoint Studio is hiring for a third-person action game, after its canceled God of War service game

Another God of War in the pipeline?

It is via a job offer that we learn a little more about what Bluepoint Studio has in store for us for the future. This offer is for a Senior Combat Designer position, in other words someone who knows how to manage a combat system. We then notice that it is required to have experience on “ third-person action games with melee combat “, which leaves a clue about the game that is in preparation within the studio.

It remains to be seen what, and we can bet that it is a well-known PlayStation license, since Bluepoint Games is more positioned on remakes rather than brand new licenses. Logic would dictate that this is a game God of War. The studio is indeed accustomed to licensing, since apart from its canceled service game, it also helped Santa Monica Studios on God of War Ragnarok. And it is entirely possible that it will re-use assets from its game service to put them to good use in a more classic episode of this license. Go figure. For now, it’s unclear when the studio will be ready to talk about its next project.
