Street Fighter 6 exceeds 6 million copies sold

On the way to becoming the best-selling episode of the saga?

During its last report, Capcom claimed to have sold 5.7 million Street Fighter 6 (figure as of September 30). A not entirely round figure, but we didn’t have to wait too long to sell 300,000 more copies. The publisher can now congratulate itself on having sold 6 million copies of its game around the worldwhich is no small feat.

If we rely on the internal sales ranking at Capcom, we see that Street Fighter 6 is already the publisher’s 16th best-selling game. So, certainly, in comparison to the new resident Evil and other Monster Hunter at the moment, the figure is not impressive, but on the scale of the saga, the feat is very notable. With its 6 million copies sold, it is close to the basic version of Street Fighter 2with the 7.9 million Street Fighter V. It will still take a little time to get there, but knowing that the game has sold almost two million copies over the past year, helped by the release of its Switch 2 version, the fifth episode will logically be beaten within a few months/years.
