It was announced today on the X account of the anime adaptation of “Sasaki and Peeps” (Japanese: “Sasaki to Pii-chan”) that the second season will start in October 2026. You can find a first trailer and a visual below.

The second season of “Sasaki and Peeps” is being created under the direction of Yuushi Ibe (“Puniru is a Kawaii Slime”) in the SILVER LINK studio. Hitomi Mieno (“Witch Watch”) is writing the script, while Saori Nakashiki is contributing character design.
The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Aoi Yuuki (Madoka Kaname in “Puella Magi Madoka Magica”) as Piercarlo and Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata in “Gintama”) as Sasaki. Crunchyroll is showing the sequel in simulcast.
The twelve-part first season ran on Japanese television from January to March 2024 and is already available on demand in the original sound with German subtitles. A disc release has not yet been announced.
