A few days before Black Friday, Sony is putting pressure on the competition with an avalanche of very targeted promotions. From November 21 and until December 18, 2025, the entire PlayStation ecosystem goes into reduction mode, whether on the PlayStation Store, the PlayStation Direct site, or at certain resellers such as Fnac or Amazon.
Two PS5 packs in the colors of Fortnite Flowering Chaos will be offered: the 825 GB digital version at €349.99, and the 1 TB version at €449.99. Both include exclusive in-game content as well as 1,000 V-Bucks. Savings go up to €150 depending on the region.
Even the PS5 Pro is affected, with a direct discount of €100. A way for Sony to accelerate its adoption as the holidays approach.
When it comes to accessories, Sony doesn’t do anything by half measures:
- €100 off PS VR2 headset
- €20 less on a selection of DualSense controllers, until December 5
- €30 discount on the DualSense Edge premium controller, until December 12
- €20 off PlayStation Portal Remote Player
- Up to €30 off Pulse Elite Headphones and Pulse Explore Earphones
Up to 75% on PS5 games and -33% on PlayStation Plus
The promotions don’t stop at the hardware. PlayStation Store is showing up to 75% off hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games. Among them, several flagship titles from Sony such as God of War Ragnarök, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Astro Bot.
But it is especially on PS Plus subscriptions that the maneuver becomes strategic. Between November 21 and a date not yet specified, the three formulas will be on sale:
- Essential: €48.23 instead of €71.99 (i.e. -33%)
- Extra: €84.41 (instead of €125.99)
- Premium: €101.83 (instead of €151.99)
Current subscribers can also upgrade to a higher tier with the same discount over the remaining term of their subscription.
To go further, some players will even be able to combine PlayStation Store promotions with discounts on PSN cards purchased from third-party resellers like Eneba or Instant Gaming. Enough to reduce the final bill.
A total Black Friday for Sony: consoles, cloud, films and gifts
This promotional operation goes beyond the simple framework of games and equipment. With the Premium/Deluxe subscription, players also benefit from cloud streaming of certain PS5 games, as well as a catalog of films via Sony Pictures Core, with reduced prices during the duration of the promotions.
Sony is fully embracing the spirit of Black Friday with a strategy that touches every dimension of the PlayStation experience. Faced with an Xbox that has remained more discreet, the Japanese firm is occupying the field, and establishing itself as one of the great leaders of this end of year.
