It all starts from an observation shared by several players: rare shiny Pokémon don’t disappear once they appear in the game. Unlike other games where a wrong move or a bad save could cause you to lose everything, here, these shiny Pokémon stay in placeeven after several zone changes. It was on X (formerly Twitter) that the phenomenon exploded. The user @ItachiVgc posted a video that has gone viral, in which he explains his method for make a maximum of shiny appear automatically. According to him, you just need to find an area with repeated stairs or transitionslike that of the Wild Area 3and hold down the left joystick so that the trainer moves back and forth between two areas. The game then reloads the card each time it passes, increasing the chance of spawning shiny at each cycle.
“I got all the shiny Pokémon in Wild Area 3 in two hours afk [loin des touches]”, explains @ItachiVgc in his publication. Better yet, he specifies that he has developed an automated system which holds the joystick in position without needing to stay in front of the console. According to his calculations, “on average, there should be 3,867 shiny Pokémon appearing” in an hour.
