Pixel 11 Pro: first images leaked, Google seems to have listened to users

The first images of the supposed Pixel 11 Pro just leaked via leaker OnLeaks and a signed case ThinBorne. At first glance, the next high-end of Google remains faithful to the Pixel signature, but several details show a real shift on points often criticized by users.

Screen borders finally refined, photo bar less imposing, new couple Tensor G6 and modem MediaTek M9 instead of the Samsung modem… Everything indicates that the Mountain View firm has adjusted its focus on the irritants of the Pixel 10 Pro. It remains to be seen what these changes mean for those who are reluctant to wait for the Pixel 11 Pro.

Pixel 11 Pro: what do these first leaked images really reveal?

According to KultureGeekTHE Pixel 11 “classic” would keep dimensions very close to the current generation, with 152.8 x 72 x 8.5 mm and a 6.3-inch screen, but with significantly reduced borders. Several sites like GenK or NotebookCheck insist on these thinner borders, while the Pixels were regularly singled out for their rather thick borders.

Visually, the famous horizontal bar on the back remains, but the “protective bar” added since the Pixel 6 disappears on the base model, which lightens the silhouette. On the future Pixel 11 Pro XLthe hulls ThinBorne analyzed by TechRadar show a wider but less protruding bar, a strong indication that the classic Pro will follow the same direction.

On the component side, the leaks suggest a chip Tensor G6 engraved in 2 nm by TSMCsupported by a security coprocessor Titan M3. The basic storage would remain at 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB, a more questionable choice at a time wheniPhone 17 and the Galaxy S26 start at 256 GB.

Pixel 11 Pro: how will these changes relieve users?

On the Pixel 10 Prothe very prominent photo bar caused the phone to tip over on a table and catch the pockets. According to Menow and TechRadar, the hull of the Pixel 11 Pro XL suggests a shallower module, therefore a smartphone that is more stable flat and more discreet in the hand.

Changing the modem is just as strategic. Still according to KultureGeek, Google would abandon the Samsung 5G modem for a MediaTek M9presented as more efficient and less energy-consuming. Concretely, this could limit heating in 5G, improve network grip in average areas and preserve battery during long GPS, streaming or gaming sessions.

THE Tensor G6with its new TPU and a low-consumption “nano-TPU” described by BezKabli, would above all aim for better energy efficiency for local artificial intelligence processing. The implicit objective is clear: to offer the advanced software functions of the Pixel without penalizing autonomy as much as previous generations.

Pixel 11 Pro: release date, expected price and what else Google has to prove

The 2026 range should include four models: Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL and a 11 Pro Foldaccording to BezKabli. KultureGeek is counting on a launch in August, in parallel withAndroid 17with a marketing that would fall right on the tenth anniversary of the Pixel brand in October.

A design director, Ivy Rosshad explained in 2025 that Google intended to renew its design “every two to three years”: the Pixel 11 Pro seems to be part of this logic of small touches rather than rupture. However, keeping 128 GB on a flagship focused on photography and advanced functions will remain difficult to defend against competitors.

As always with CAD renderings and third-party shells, everything is not yet set in stone. But between the thinner borders, the less aggressive photo bar and the Tensor G6 / MediaTek M9 duo, these leaks give the image of a Pixel 11 Pro which finally corrects several defects that fans have been denouncing for years.
