Colors that will quickly be hidden
Nintendo today revealed the existence of two new light purple and light green Joy-Con for your Nintendo Switch 2. But these new colors are ultimately very shy, since they are only displayed on the edges of the controllers and under the joystick.
This contrasts with the first generation Joy-Con, where the new colors repainted all of the controllers. We therefore find ourselves here with Joy-Cons which remain mainly black, and whose colors will be barely perceptible when the Joy-Cons are connected to the console or to a controller support, which is quite questionable. Let’s hope that in the future, Nintendo allows itself to use slightly more pronounced colors to get rid of this black, which is certainly very sober, but which does not provide much color.
These light purple and light green Joy-Con will be available from February 12to coincide with the release of Mario Tennis Fever (even if the colors have nothing to do with the game).
