A new trailer for the second season was released today on the official X account of “You and I Are Polar Opposites” (Japanese: “Seihantai na Kimi to Boku”). You can find the video below.
Starting in July 2026
The second season of “You and I Are Polar Opposites” is again being directed by Takakazu Nagatomo (episode director on “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off”) in the Lapin Track studio. Teruko Utsumi (“Sarazanmai”) is again writing the script.
The opening song entitled “Nekojarashi”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the music project 7co. Crunchyroll will show the sequel in the original dub with subtitles in the simulcast from July 5, 2026.
The twelve-part first season, which aired from January to March 2026, is already fully available in German and Japanese.
