Japanese publisher Dengeki Bunko announced today that the light novel series “Demons’ Crest” by “Sword Art Online” author Reki Kawahara will receive an anime adaptation. You can find a picture of the announcement below.

Concrete details about the anime implementation, such as the format (series, film, other) or the people involved in the production, are still pending. A date for publication is currently still open.
Kawahara started his fantasy action series “Demons’ Crest” in November 2022. Dengeki Bunko, a label of ASCII Media Works, has so far brought three volumes with illustrations by Yukiko Horiguchi to Japanese retailers.
The US publisher Yen Press has been publishing the work in English since June 2024. A German-language version is currently not available.
