New details about the TV special of “Cheat Skill in Another World”

New details about the upcoming TV special were announced today on the X account of the anime adaptation of “I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too” (Japanese: “Isekai de Cheat Skill”). We summarize.

Premiering in March 2026

The new TV special should be shown on Japanese television around the end of March 2026. However, an exact broadcast date has not yet been announced. It is currently unclear whether there will also be an international release.

The Millepensee studio is once again responsible for the production, with Shin Itagaki (“So I’m a Spider, So What?”), who worked as chief director on the previous series, taking over the position of director and writing the script.

The main roles of the Japanese voice cast again include Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Ren Amaki in “The Rising of the Shield Hero”) as Yuuya Tenjou and Akari Kitou (Krystal Novaty Nokanatika in “Tales of Wedding Rings”) as Kaori Houjou.

The 13-part anime adaptation of “I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too” ran in simulcast on Crunchyroll in spring 2023. A Blu-ray complete box was released in July 2024.
