New Blu-ray complete box set for “Hunter x Hunter” announced


Publisher KSM Anime recently announced that they would be re-releasing the anime adaptation of “Hunter x Hunter” in a complete Blu-ray box set. We summarize the details for you below.

Release in June 2026

The new complete box set of “Hunter x Hunter” will be available in stores as Blu-ray from June 18, 2026. This includes all 148 episodes in German and Japanese as well as the opening and ending songs in the clean version as an extra. The product is available to pre-order now on Amazon, AKIBA PASS and Anime Planet.

It wasn’t until January 2026 that a Blu-ray complete box of “Hunter x Hunter” was released, limited to 1,500 copies, which includes a few additional extras compared to the new version. However, this edition is already sold out.

The MADHOUSE studio was responsible for the production of the anime, which originally ran on Japanese television from October 2011 to September 2014, and was directed by Hiroshi Koujina (“The Vampire Dies in No Time”).
