The streaming service Netflix recently released a new video for the second season of “One Piece”, which you can watch further down in this article. In addition, a new cast member was introduced. We summarize.

New video and new cast member

Just a few days ago, Netflix confirmed March 10, 2026 as the date for the second season of “One Piece,” in which the plot sections “Loguetown,” “Reverse Mountain,” “Whiskey Peak,” “Little Garden” and “Drum Island” will be adapted.

In order to sweeten the waiting time until then, an almost two-minute teaser video has now been published, which not only contains comments from the main actors, but also shows some excerpts from the upcoming sequel.

Even though production of the second season has only been finalized for a few weeks, intensive work is already underway on the already confirmed third season – which is also reflected in the most recent cast announcement.

The American actor Cole Escola can be seen in the role of Bon Clay in the future. At the same time, there is a new appointment in the creative leadership team.

Matt Owens is leaving the series due to mental health issues and is being replaced by Ian Stokes (“Marvel’s Luke Cage”), who will now serve as co-showrunner, writer and executive producer along with Joe Tracz.
