The streaming service Netflix announced today that it will be launching the anime adaptation of “Daemons of the Shadow Realm” (Japanese: “Yomi no Tsugai”) worldwide next month. We summarize.

“Daemons of the Shadow Realm” will therefore start on July 4, 2026 in the original sound with subtitles and with various dubbed versions on Netflix. The publication should take place on a weekly basis.
The studio bones film is responsible for the implementation of the 24 episodes, with Masahiro Andou (“The Red-Haired Snow Princess”) directing. Crunchyroll has been showing the series since April 4, 2026, both with German dubbing and in the original Japanese sound with German subtitles.
The original manga series of the same name comes from Hiromu Arakawa and has been published in “Shounen Gangan” magazine since December 2021. The work is available in German from Altraverse under the title “The Band of the Underworld”.
