The Pokémon Legends: ZA Mega Dimension DLC will add new Pokémon to the game, as well as new Mega Evolutions. This is indicated by a leak published in recent hours on social networks, relayed by several trusted insiders. The list, taken from a datamine, reveals no less than 138 returning Pokémon, as well as 19 new Mega-Evolutions, some of which are completely unexpected.

The release of the DLC would be scheduled for the end of February 2026probably on the occasion of Pokémon Day. While waiting for official confirmation, fans are already deciphering this update which could well transform the gaming experience.

All Pokémon returning in the Mega Dimension DLC

The additional content promises to be massive. According to data pulled by Twitter user @Mattyoukhana, 138 previously known Pokémon will be available in the DLC. The selection mixes timeless classics, regional shapes and creatures from all generations. We find there in particular:

  • Jigglypuff, Zubat, Meowth (Alola and Galar forms), Canarticho and Alolan Bonebreaker
  • Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip and their evolutions to their Mega forms
  • Latias, Latios, Rayquaza, Kyogre and Groudon in their Mega or Primo forms
  • Darkrai, Heatran, Magearna and Zeraora
  • Recent Pokémon like Annihilape, Gholdengo, Scovillain or Tinkaton
  • And alternate forms: Rotom, Genesect, Galarian Yamask, Gimmighoul, Tatsugiri, etc.

This massive return of Pokémon covers almost all regions and all generations. Good news for trainers who were waiting to find their favorites in a semi-open world adventure.

19 new Mega Evolutions, including two for Raichu

This is the real surprise of this leak: 19 new Mega Evolutions would be introduced in the DLC. Among them:

  • Mega Raichu X and Ya new double form which could offer new life to the electric mascot of the license
  • Mega Garchomp, Lucario, Darkrai, Heatran, Zeraora, Absoland even surprises like Méga Scovillain or Méga Glimmora
  • Usually forgotten Pokémon, like Chimecho or Crabominable, also benefit from a boosted version
  • Tatsugiri and Baxcaliburtwo particularly popular recent Pokémon, each get a Mega Evolution

This strengthening of the Mega-Evolution system gives this mechanic a central place again, after years where it had been relegated behind Dynamax or Teracrystallization. Enough to pave the way for more strategic gameplay.

Estimated release date and future of the license

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but players are expecting an announcement soon. “It is likely that the DLC will be released on Pokémon Day, or even before, because it makes sense that Nintendo, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company would then focus on the 10th generation. »

Pokémon Day, scheduled for February 27, 2026, would be the ideal opportunity to mark a turning point in the saga. The DLC would then be the last major content of Pokémon Legends: ZAbefore the spotlight turns to the Generation 10expected in 2027.

The first leaks concerning this 10th generation already evoke a region inspired by Southeast Asia, two new titles (Pokémon Wind And Pokémon Wave), as well as an even more ambitious open world. But until then, the Mega Dimension seems to want to offer a spectacular swan song to Legends: ZA.
