The limited steelbook edition of the first season of »Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World« is now available in the director’s cut version from Crunchyroll. We summarize all the details for you below.

The complete box contains all 13 episodes with a German language version and the original Japanese audio with German subtitles on Blu-ray. As an extra there is an English language booklet with 124 pages and mini episodes.
The director’s cut version is a slightly adapted version of the first season of »Re:ZERO«. Two individual episodes were combined into longer episodes of around 45 to 50 minutes. An additional scene was also added at the end, which seamlessly transitions to the second season.
The anime adaptation of »Re:ZERO« currently includes three full seasons, which are available on demand on Crunchyroll. The first half of the 19-part fourth season has been running in German since April 8, 2026 and in the original language in the simulcast.

Subaru ends up in a strange world and meets a girl looking for her stolen insignia. He helps her without recognizing the danger. When they try to catch the perpetrator, they are killed.
