LEGO presents 17 new “Pokémon” sets for adults and children

The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company recently unveiled 17 new LEGO Pokémon sets. We summarize.

New LEGO sets announced

The new wave of products includes twelve SMART Play sets for children as well as five other products aimed primarily at adult collectors. All sets can already be pre-ordered and will be released either in August or October 2026.

The new collector’s sets include the 757-piece Pokémon Mampfaxo, 1,190-piece Arkani and 1,083-piece Rayquaza, a 2,386-piece opening Poké Ball and an oversized 930-piece Red figure.

Twelve new SMART Play sets are being released for children at the same time, with which you can, among other things, fight battles, train Pokémon and use other interactive functions. The Pokémon included include Pikachu, Eevee, Night Macaw, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Gengar as well as Mew, Charizard and Bulbasaur.

As expected, the new Rayquaza model, which had already been the subject of numerous rumors, received particular attention. The legendary Pokémon features multiple movable joints and comes with a Zinnia minifigure and a display base.

The largest of the newly announced collector’s models is the opening Poké Ball, which contains Professor Oak’s laboratory and a battle scene inside. The set includes minifigures of Red, Professor Oak, Pikachu, Eevee and a picnicker. As usual, you can see some pictures of the sets below these lines.

The LEGO Pokémon series was introduced in early 2026 and is now being significantly expanded with the new wave. In total, the range on the official website now includes 21 products, including the three models that are already available.
