Through a product listing on Amazon it was announced that AniMoon Publishing will soon release the spin-off anime »KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!« as a complete Blu-ray edition. Pre-ordering is already possible.
Release in January 2026
The complete box set of »KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!« is expected to be released on January 16, 2026 with all twelve episodes in the German and Japanese language versions. According to the current status, no extras are planned.
The spin-off to “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing On This Wonderful World!” was directed by Yuujirou Abe (“Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister”) and produced at Studio Drive. Makoto Uezu (“Yuki Yuna is a Hero”) wrote the script.
The series, which focuses on the character Megumin, ran on Japanese television from April to June 2023 and is available on demand in German and Japanese language versions on Crunchyroll. A DVD and Blu-ray release in three individual volumes with a limited collector’s slipcase took place in autumn 2023.
