GTA 6: a reliable source claims that the game will not be postponed and will cost less than expected

While rumors of postponement have multiplied in recent months, a well-placed source claims that Grand Theft Auto VI will come out well November 2026 as planned, without major additional cost for players. News that rekindles fans’ enthusiasm and finally clarifies Rockstar Games’ ambitions for its most anticipated title of the decade.

Reliable insider confirms November 2026 release

It is Tom Hendersonrecognized journalist at InsiderGamingwho recently shared his GTA 6 predictions in a video relayed by the GTAVI_Countdown account on X (formerly Twitter). According to him, the game is already well advanced in its development, and the previous six-month postponement would have allowed Rockstar to secure a stable release for November 2026.

A statement that contrasts with the usual uncertainty surrounding Rockstar’s projects, often subject to successive delays. Henderson, whose predictions have been proven correct in the past regarding GTA 6, says the studio would have no reason to delay the game’s release again.

A standard price of 80 dollars, not $100

Another good surprise: contrary to worrying speculation about a price of 100 dollars, the standard edition of GTA 6 should finally align with the trend of recent triple-A games, with a price around 80 dollars. A relief for many players who feared a price spike for such a massive game.

This decision would be strategic, Rockstar aiming for a massive adoption from launch without scaring away players with too high an entry ticket. However, it is likely that deluxe or collector’s editions will cross this symbolic bar.

A PC release pushed back to 2027?

If the console versions are planned for November 2026, the PC version could wait until fall 2027, according to Insider Gaming. A habit at Rockstar, which often takes an extra year to adapt its titles to the PC platform, as was the case with GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2. This suggests a staggered launch window, allowing the studio to refine the experience on each platform.

Rockstar finally reassures an impatient community

Since the announcement of GTA 6, fans have alternated between excitement and frustration at the lack of concrete information. This new reassuring testimony could well change the situation, especially since Rockstar has always been able to maintain the mystery around its titles.

If these predictions are confirmed, November 2026 promises to be a historic month for video games, marking the strong return of a cult license. We now have to wait for an official announcement from the studio… which could well come sooner than we think.
