Final Fantasy VII Remake demo is now available on Switch 2 and Xbox Series

Test these ports before their release

And to erase certain doubts (or confirm them), you can now try out a demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch via the Microsoft Store and eShop. This demo (around 8 GB) is the same as the one available on other platforms, that is to say it allows you to go through the first chapter of the game and the arrival of Cloud & Avalanche in the first reactor to explode in Midgar. You can then transfer your save to the full game.

A good way to know if this port runs correctly, especially on the Nintendo console. And if you want a first opinion on this subject, you can consult our preview produced during Paris Games Week.

A new video for these versions has been released, although it is not representative of the demo content. Final Fantasy Remake Intergrade will be available on Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 from January 22, 2026. Pre-ordering the game (until January 31, 2026) will also give access to a digital copy of Final Fantasy VII (the original), while pre-ordering the physical edition of the title on Switch 2 will reward you with a Magic Final Fantasy card booster.
