Fallout 4 has a ton of new free content to download right now

Since the end of season 2, the post-apocalyptic universe of Fallout has experienced a dazzling revival of interest. Bethesda isn’t releasing a new game at the moment, but the community has taken over, and modders have gone wild. Result: Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas are now full of new content directly inspired by the Amazon series.

Nexus Mods: additions faithful to the universe of the series

It is on Nexus Mods that fans will find what they are looking for. No less than nine mods have been put forward to “allow you to dive deeper into the universe of the series”, according to the community portal. There are accessories, textures, characters and even armor, all designed to recreate the visual atmosphere of the TV series.

For those who wish to play Lucy, the heroine played by Ella Purnell, two mods have become essential: Hardened Vaulty – Lucy’s Outfit And Lucy’s Vault-Tec Backpack. Together, they identically recreate the white tank top, blue pants and yellow and blue backpack seen on screen.

Cooper Howard, Maximus and the aesthetic of the series in your game

Lovers of the character Cooper Howard (played by Walton Goggins) can now integrate him into their game of Fallout 4. The mod “Cooper Howard Billboard” replaces the game’s billboards with posters of the character before his transformation into a ghoul, strengthening the connection between the television adaptation and the game.

Another notable addition: Maximus’ armor, worn in several episodes by Aaron Moten, is also available. This content will delight fans of the Brotherhood of Steel, keen to stick to the design seen on screen.

Visual mods: a Fallout 4 more cinematic than ever

The aesthetic of the series also inspired a visual overhaul of Fallout 4. The mod “TV Show Accurate Aesthetics” features a compilation of graphical enhancements that align the game’s moods and light tones with those of the Prime Video series.

Even Codsworth, the robot butler, gets a makeover to better match his TV version. The Pip-Boy, the central element of the interface, also adopts a style closer to that seen in the episodes.

A more bearable wait for Fallout fans

While waiting for a possible announcement of Fallout 5 or an official spin-off, these mods transform Fallout 4 into a true playable homage to the series. And above all, they make the wait for season 3 much more bearable, by extending the experience in its own way, controller or keyboard in hand.

Fallout 4 is getting a makeover thanks to a series of free mods directly inspired by the Prime Video series. Here are the best ones to download without delay.
