Epic Games is giving away over $30 worth of PC games this week, no strings attached

Nothing better than free games to enhance your week. Until November 27, 2025, PC gamers can grab two titles with a combined value of over $30 for free from the Epic Games Store. And unlike some subscription-based offers, here you simply need to create a free account and download the Epic launcher.

Of course you need an internet connection, but that’s about it. Once games are added to your library, they are yours for life. Be careful, however, with the deadline: after Thursday, the games return to the usual price.

Two free games, two radically different atmospheres

First game on display: Zoeti (value: $19.99). This title from Akupara Games is presented as “a turn-based roguelite using a deck of cards to create combos and activate skills in mid-combat”. The fantasy universe, mixed with mechanics close to strategic poker, should appeal to fans of reflection and deck construction.

Second free game: Godzilla Voxel Wars (value: $14.99), a radically different experience. This is a turn-based strategy game featuring Toho’s legendary monsters, including Mothra, King Ghidorah and of course Godzilla himself. The tone is set from the pitch: “Get ready to exercise your brains! A complete turn-based strategy game with a difficulty level: Godzilla!”

You will have to control the kaijus to defend the world against a fungal invasion on an 8×8 grid. A concept as absurd as it is delightful.

Universe for Sale will take over from Thursday

Once these two titles are removed from the free store, a new game will take over from November 27 until December 4: Universe for Sale (value: $14.99), an independent narrative adventure with a very unique style.

In this space fable, “a space station nestled in the clouds of Jupiter” is home to “a strange bazaar where a restless young woman shapes entire universes in the palm of her hand.” The atmosphere promises to be metaphysical, contemplative and resolutely original. The tone of the game is immediately set with this intriguing sentence: “Here, a universe is for sale. Are you buying?”

A good habit to adopt every week

Every Thursday at 5 p.m., the Epic Games Store renews its selection of free games. Sometimes confidential, sometimes massively anticipated, these titles often represent the ideal opportunity to discover new gems without opening your wallet. A reflex to adopt for any curious PC gamer.

To make sure you don’t miss anything, also keep an eye out for announcements on Epic Games’ social networks. The game you’ve been waiting for for months could well fall for free from the sky… or from the servers.
