“Dragon Ball Super” returns once again to ProSieben MAXX

Through an entry in ProSieben MAXX’s programming schedule, it was announced today that the free TV channel will be broadcasting the anime series “Dragon Ball Super” again in German in a few weeks. We summarize.

Repeat from April 2026

The repeat of “Dragon Ball Super” starts on April 21, 2026 at 5:10 p.m. with the first episode and can now be seen in double episodes on ProSieben MAXX from Monday to Friday at 4:45 p.m. The individual episodes are then available in the media library on Joyn.

The Toei Animation studio was responsible for producing the action series, which first aired on Japanese television between July 2015 and March 2018. In this country, the 131-episode anime celebrated its premiere in September 2017 on ProSieben MAXX and was last seen there in autumn 2025.

“Dragon Ball Super” is available on demand with German dubbing and in the original sound from ADN and is available on DVD and Blu-ray through Crunchyroll. A remake of the “Battle of Gods” saga is planned for fall 2026, while a sequel, “Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol,” is in the works.
