The next two characters already in action
Riot does not want to speak any further about the recent layoffs and instead prefers to reassure the community about the future of 2XKO. Even though the team is missing a lot of talent, they are still working on the game’s roadmap.
This starts with local cooperation mode, which remains a priority within the studio with a prototype that is currently being tested. No date yet for this feature, but Riot makes us understand that it’s coming soon. Another emergency is the balancing, which should arrive little by little so that certain champions can shine better.
In addition, Riot reaffirms its commitment to upcoming competitions, the schedule of which does not change at this time. The team also intends to fix some bugs such as those concerning the search for ranked matches, and screen tearing issues, especially on console.
And to indicate to us that the game will continue to chart its course despite recent events, Riot offers gameplay extracts concerning the next two characters to join the cast. 2XKO will first welcome Akali before highlighting Senna in a future season. No further details at the moment, other than these gameplay previews.
2XKO is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
