Concrete date for the third “Jujutsu Kaisen” season + visual


It was announced today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Jujutsu Kaisen” that the first part of the third season will be broadcast on Japanese television from January 8, 2026. A new visual can be found below.

The third season of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” which adapts the “Culling Game” arc, is once again being directed by Shota Goshozono (episode director for “Chainsaw Man”) at Studio MAPPA. Hiroshi Seko (“Wind Breaker”) is writing the script again.

Before the regular TV broadcast, the first two new episodes will be shown in cinemas internationally as part of the recap and preview film “Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution – Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins”.

The Japanese premiere took place on November 7th, 2025, before the big screen spin-off starts in this country on November 25th, 2025 in the original version with subtitles.

The streaming service Crunchyroll already offers the first two seasons and the prequel film on demand and shows the sequel in the original sound with subtitles in a simulcast. All previous episodes are also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
