Capcom politely asks you not to share leaks spreading about the game

Leaks should become increasingly difficult to dodge

Recognizing that leaks are indeed spreading around Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom wanted to send a message to the community to warn that its legal teams are indeed on the caseand will be uncompromising with those who have fun wanting to spoil the public’s surprise:

Please do not post or share any leaks or spoilers before the release of Resident Evil Requiem. We sincerely want everyone to be able to fully enjoy the story and experience of the game. Our legal department will continue to issue takedown requests and removals regarding any leaks, in order to preserve your experience from day one. The release is fast approaching and we can’t wait to hear your reactions once the game is available. »

Not sure, however, that Capcom can contain everything as these things can spread even more quickly than the T virus. Once again, it is good to remember to be careful on social networks by hiding certain keywords, whether it is the name of the game or the characters.

Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27, 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2. To find out more about the game, do not hesitate to consult our preview.
